James makes a limited number of prints, and each is signed, titled and dated in the three-inch margin. The photographer also notes the print’s number within the edition (such as 3/25). Prints are made one at a time, with permanent pigments on heavy, archival watercolor paper. This paper has a pronounced texture that enhances the luminous, painterly quality of James’s photos.
